This tree bark has an interesting organic pattern. It appears as though it was created by layer upon layer of overlapping bark which eventually formed into this vein-like pattern. The bark seems like it will continue to grow with additional layers, or eventually begin to flake off and decay.
The carpet pattern definately seems very stable, where as the tree bark definately gives a sense of movement and life. Its has no clear beggining or end,is very consistent, and was clearly intentional.
